Patty was introduced to New Thought in Florida at the local Centers for Spiritual Living where she attended and eventually served on the board. After moving to North Carolina, she discovered Unity and has been attending for 3 years.
Patty grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania. When she was almost 40, she moved to Columbus, Ohio for about 25 years where she raised her family and pursued her career. She moved to Seminole, FL in 2014 with her daughter, son-in-law and 2 granddaughters, who are now 12 and 14 years old. When her son-in-law changed jobs to Winthrop University in 2023, they moved to Rock Hill. She has another daughter who lives in Portland, Oregon with twin daughters.
Previously, Patty worked at AT&T Bell Labs as a computer programmer, specializing in user interfaces. Later she worked in the Math Department at The Ohio State University helping to run the Ross Mathematics Summer Camp for high-achieving high schoolers. In addition, she ran a website design business on the side. Now her days are spent driving the granddaughters around, walking the dog, quilting, knitting and gardening.
